Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U16B vs  Tonbridge School
On: Saturday, 19 Jan 2019
Venue: at Home

Drew 1-1

The U16Bs were organised and ready to work hard from the word go. It was a very even match, with both teams defending well and creating chances. Just before half time, Tonbridge took advantage of a moment of disorganisation in Epsom's defence and scored from a corner. In the second half, Epsom fought their way back into the match and increasingly dominated in midfield. Halfway through the second half, Epsom had a free kick in a promising position, about 20-25 yards out. Max Doyle (G) took it and placed the ball into the top right corner – a beautiful and well-deserved goal. Epsom defended with great passion and got close to scoring a few times, but in the end, a draw was a fair result. Alex Rose (C) stood out, displaying great vision and clever defensive work.
