Match Report
Epsom College Girls-4th XI vs  St John's School, Leatherhead
On: Saturday, 01 Dec 2018
Venue: at Home

WON 4-0

Epsom had to battle hard in the first half against a well-organised St John’s team, who were able to gain possession as a result of an uncharacteristic number of unforced errors. Epsom managed to dig deep and were soon rewarded with a goal. The team then relaxed and started playing some good hockey in the second half. Holly Darlaston (R) made a number of great runs down the right wing. Epsom’s midfield worked their socks off, with special mention to Lulu Candlish (Rv) who covered the centre of the pitch so well and also managed to get on the score sheet. Issy Blackburn (R) was always a threat in front of goal and was rewarded with two goals.

Goal Scorers: Blackburn (R) x2, Candlish (Rv), Darlaston (R)

Player of the Match: Aliyah Williams-Gordon (Cr) - for making a number of excellent saves; one save in particular at full stretch to tip the ball around the goal post was superb goalkeeping!
