Match Report
Epsom College Girls-U13A vs  St John's School, Leatherhead
On: Saturday, 01 Dec 2018
Venue: at Home

Drew 0-0

This was a well-anticipated game and one the girls were very much looking forward to. The first half did not disappoint; Epsom were out of the blocks with a bang and kept the momentum going with good team and individual play. Great opportunities were created in front of goal that sadly could not quite be converted. Going into the half time break at 0-0 was disappointing, but the second half started with the same determination, energy and persistence to score. Yet again, opportunities were being presented due to hard work from all the team, but it was sadly not quite coming together. There was a phase of the game when the team was under pressure and lost their way slightly, but Amber Roberts (GH) made some crucial saves in goal, which made a massive difference. The girls may not have won, but they will take a number of positives away from this game that will help them to grow and improve as a team.

Players of the Match: Amber Roberts (GH) and Yasi Fryer (Wa)
