On: Saturday, 15 Sep 2018
Venue: at Home

WON 2-1

A cracking performance. For most of the first half the ball was in Epsom’s attacking end and the girls worked tirelessly to hit the ball on target. However, the first goal came in the first few minutes of the second half, scored by Gabby Sesay (Wa). Tired legs then began to set in but the girls dug deep with some excellent tackles from Jessica Strange (Wa) and Phoebe Gordon (Hu). Emma Wright (GH) kept battling hard in the middle and worked well with Lily Day (GH) to get the ball wide to open up space. The girls took the lead again after a superb goal from Lily Day, who battled around the keeper to score the winning goal. In the last few minutes of the game, Isabelle Allison (Wa) made a great save to stop KES from equalising and the girls were able to hold on to the final whistle.

Goal Scorers: Sesay (Wa), Day (GH)
