Match Report
Epsom College 1st XV vs  Dulwich College
On: Saturday, 15 Sep 2018
Venue: Away

Lost 8-18

The 1st team had a close game against Dulwich, eventually losing out 8-18. The first twenty minutes were even but some poor Epsom defence and a mounting error count led to Dulwich leading 10-0 at half time. Things mildly improved in the second half, but some ferocious defence from Dulwich and some poor execution by Epsom meant the scored stayed 10-3 after a Jack Jesty (G) penalty. Jesty then charged down a box kick and took it over for a try. Dulwich's best player, their full back, then scored from a well-worked set piece play to make it 18-8 and although Epsom did put pressure on for the last ten minutes it was too little, too late. Lots of work to do for the Cranleigh game next week.

Try: Jesty (G)

Player of the Match: Makeen Alikhan (Rn) - for his tremendous all round game
