Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U16A vs  Dulwich College
On: Saturday, 15 Sep 2018
Venue: at Home

Lost 7-36

A frustrating afternoon for the Colts who showed an improvement in their performance from last weekend. Up against a strong, athletic Dulwich side who played an open offloading game, Epsom’s improvement came with winning the field position battle in the early stages of the game. Unfortunately, Epsom’s 1v1 tackling let them down at times throughout the first period, seeing Dulwich capitalise on mistakes so the half time score was 0-22. Epsom replied early in the second half with a try from Tom Lynagh (F) crashing over from short range. Although there was sustained pressure throughout the second half in the Dulwich 22, Epsom could not come away with another score. The boys must try and improve on their defensive effort going into a tough fixture next weekend against Cranleigh.

Tries: Lynagh (F)

Player of the Match: Josh Shayesteh (Rn)
