Lost 19-20

This was a thrilling, evenly-matched affair against a well-drilled Dulwich side. Epsom struck early as Will Springett (Fa) pounced into the corner to take the lead within the first five minutes. Dulwich attacked with sustained pressure and despite strong upfront tackles from Fraser Law (Rn) and Kevin Gyamfo (P), Dulwich scored twice in the corner to make it 7-10 at half time. Epsom controlled possession early in the second half. After gaining territory from the boot of Kit Temperley (Rn), a series of majestic passes led Springett to score another sensational try in the corner. Epsom continued to build momentum and swiftly unleashed Law to storm across the whitewash from his own half making it 19-10 to Epsom. Dulwich redoubled their efforts and responded quickly with two well-worked tries to put Epsom on the back foot. Epsom controlled the remainder of the game and put together several thrilling phases, but, unfortunately, it was too little, too late and Epsom suffered a heartbreaking 19-20 loss.
Tries: Springett (Fa) x2, Law (Rn)
