A thrilling game of two halves. Epsom played strongly through the first half, going 21-7 up through tries scored by Louis Saint (G) and two from Vlad Dropnokhod (G), converted by Will Hewett (H). It was characterised by a highly organised back line who seized any opportunity provided. However, with the slope against in the second half, Dulwich came back strongly, redoubling their efforts. The Epsom defensive line was tested to the extreme, conceding three tries and two conversions, giving Dulwich a lead of 26-21. Their strong pack tested the Epsom defence continuously until a final break in the closing seconds of the game provided Saint with the opportunity to score under the posts. The final try was converted by Hewett to give Epsom a dramatic 28-26 win.
