Epsom College Girls-2nd XI vs  Brighton College
On: Saturday, 13 Oct 2018
Venue: at Home

WON 4-1

On a warm autumn day, the 2nd XI pulled out another impressive result and performance against a strong hockey school and good opposition. There was excellent effort again from the whole squad and some brilliant goals scored, especially the third goal. This was an excellent move from the back, where the ball was worked into the midfield by Alex Morley (Wh), and then transferred out to the right by Alice Taylor (Rv). The ball was moved on to Annie Hindley (Rv) and Rosy Payne (Rv) who struck it to the far post for the waiting Lucinda Curtis (R) who flicked it into the net – a simply beautiful team goal. It has been great to see the improvement in the squad and team since the start of term and the girls should be delighted with the first half of their season.

Goal Scorers: Curtis (R) x2, Payne (Rv), Taylor (Rv)

Player of the Match: Ysella Oliver (Rv) – made some outstanding saves.
