Match Report
Epsom College Girls-U14A vs  Brighton College
On: Saturday, 13 Oct 2018
Venue: Away

Drew 1-1

With two crucial players out injured, a number of others had to step up in unfamiliar roles. Epsom dominated the majority of the game but could not find the final shot. Nevertheless, they played well and with intensity. The Epsom goal came towards the end of the first half after sustained pressure and Sophie Edison (M) was quick to pounce with another first time finish. However, the girls went to sleep and Brighton cut them open to equalise immediately. Farrah Stephens-Martin (M) and Ella Parson (Rv) worked incredibly hard in the centre of the pitch and created a number of opportunities to almost kill the game off. Sophie Norman (Wh), Thea Haigh (R) and Olivia Thompson-Brown (M) played some of their best hockey, helping to stop Brighton before they penetrated the D. An undefeated Saturday run continues.

Goal Scorer: Edison (M)

Player of the Match: Farrah Stephens-Martin (M)
