Epsom College Boys-U15A vs  Haileybury
On: Saturday, 02 Feb 2019
Venue: Away

Drew 1-1

The U15As got off the mark in the Southern League with a frustrating away point. Having conceded early in the game to a series of self-made errors, the boys piled on the pressure throughout the game. As Haileybury sat deep in defence and with the pitch extremely muddy, the boys had to change their usual possession-based style. Excellent diagonal passes by Charlie Day (C) and Oliver Carr-White (Fa) seemed to cause the most problems for Haileybury, who were determined to kill time from early in the first half. A series of excellent corners by Zach Alfalahi (C) looked to be the main route to an equaliser, with Rhys Day (G), Bryn Cann (Fa) and Jamie Grubb (P) all going close to scoring. With time running out, a through ball by Carr-White found Charlie Redknapp (G), who finished with aplomb. A useful away point that could have been so much more.
Goal scorer: Redknapp (G)
