Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U14A vs  Harrow School
On: Saturday, 09 Feb 2019
Venue: Away

Lost 0-4

An epic encounter on a blustery afternoon in a mud bath at the bottom of Harrow hill. The match kicked off and a focused and determined side played some wonderful football. The first half was excellent, both teams wanting to play a fast-paced game. All players were excellent and it was clear they wanted to win. Harrow just shaded the first half and were lucky to go ahead at the end. The second half saw Epsom produce more attacking threat and were unlucky not to score. In the end, Harrow’s relentless pressure led to a second goal conceded. The team did not give up and kept trying. Harrow caught the team on the counter and a penalty awarded to see Harrow move 3-0 ahead. A fourth goal was added in the dying seconds. The scoreline did not reflect the game as a whole. The whole team played very well and did themselves proud.
Player of the Match: Will Springett (Fa) - made some good saves but his Sweeper-Keeper play was excellent.
