Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U15A vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 22 Sep 2018
Venue: at Home

WON 21-0

A good first half performance playing up the slope took Epsom into a 7-0 lead at half time. Given the wet conditions, decision making and patterns of play were markedly improved and it was only a lack of composure in the Cranleigh red zone that limited the half time score to a single converted try, scored by Henry Hodgson (C). Epsom started the second half well with an excellent try scored by Jude Clark (G). However, intensity levels dropped enabling a determined Cranleigh side to stay in the game for the rest of the half, with Epsom only scoring their third try through Josh King (H) in the final play of the game. All three tries were converted well by Leo Hales (F), giving Epsom a 21-0 victory. Lots of positives, but equally still many things to work on before the first round cup game against Richard Challoner School on Tuesday 2nd October.

Tries: Clark (G), Hodgson (C), King (H)
