Epsom College Boys-U15C vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 22 Sep 2018
Venue: at Home

Lost 7-33

A strong performance from Epsom in an excellent contest that ended with a less flattering scoreline. Cranleigh opened the scoring with an awesome try from a lovely cross field kick and maintained good momentum throughout the first half. Epsom defended strongly and maintained their own pressure with and without the ball through some great attack led by Charlie Day (C) and some bone-rattling tackling by skipper Nick Towson (C) and were unfortunate to let in a few tries. The second half made for a much better contest with the Epsom attack injected with some much needed aggression and intent, and some massive runs from Will Busby (P), Kai Von Eisenhart-Goodwin (G) and Otto Lapidus (G). Their efforts were rewarded with a great try from George De Groot (C) and a drawn second half showed the level of improvement. A good contest played in great spirit; a fantastic effort from all despite the result.

Try: De Groot (C)

Player of the Match: Kai Von Eisenhart-Goodwin (G)
