Epsom College Boys-U14B vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 22 Sep 2018
Venue: at Home

WON 22-17

A great win for the U14Bs. The boys started well with a try in the first couple of minutes. Excellent running lines and great rucking by the forwards created space for Rorke Ollerhead (Fa) to score in the corner. Not long afterwards Oliver Yeabsley (G) crossed to increase Epsom’s lead, with Will Hewett (H) converting. Despite looking comfortable a lack of discipline and poor handling in the wet conditions meant Epsom were on the back foot but the team held out until half time. Epsom started the second half poorly and conceded an early try. The boys rallied, though, and Thomas Curham (Rn) scored a well worked try. Cranleigh fought back, scoring again to bring the score to 17-12, and the pattern repeated with Epsom taking a 22-12 lead with a Halim Berisha (P) try and despite a tremendous effort Cranleigh scored with the last play to finish off a thrilling game.

Tries: Curham (Rn), Berisha (P), Ollerhead (Fa), Yeabsley (G)

Players of the Match: Cosmo Mullen (P) and Oliver Yeabsley (G)
