Epsom College Boys-U16A vs  Canford School
On: Saturday, 06 Oct 2018
Venue: at Home

WON 50-0

Epsom roared to their first win of the season. In testing conditions, Epsom came out of the blocks with a determined look in their eye. They scored first with an early try, which displayed some hard straight running from the forwards, but with some neat passing from the backs. This seemed to be the catalyst for them throughout the first half with Charlie Witten (G) showing his power, Henry Dalton (P) his silky footwork and Luke Marsh (C) being the rock in the backfield all day. Epsom then began to turn the screw upfront with the scrum functioning like a well-oiled machine and turning over Canford’s scrum at will. The second half saw Epsom make four changes with Freddie Gathercole (G), Finn Everett (Rn), Aaron Endeley (C) and Zac O’Connor (P) coming on to boost the team with fresh legs. Epsom really worked hard defensively, especially on their line speed, which saw them not concede a try all game. A fantastic afternoon for the Colts who can now look forward towards Harrow next week.

Tries: Witten (G) x3, Adeniji (F) x2, Dalton (P), Lynagh (F)
