Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U16C vs  RGS, Guildford
On: Saturday, 17 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

Lost 19-38

Another slow start meant that Epsom were on the back foot for much of the first half trying to overcome a three-try deficit conceded in the first ten minutes. By half time they were beginning to show some promise, with some strong running by Anish Patel (Rn) and good tackling from James McKenzie (P). This form continued into the second half, but costly errors and direct play from the opposition saw RGS extend their lead, scoring three further tries. The last ten minutes saw Epsom play some of their best rugby of the term, scoring three determined tries of their own. The team deserves credit for this comeback, playing with pride and panache. This will give them confidence with two games left.

Tries: Baihinga (H) x2, Keeler (P)

Player of the Match: Anish Patel (Rn)
