WON 24-10

Epsom spent much of the first ten minutes on the back foot. They defended heroically at times, but eventually conceded in the corner. Epsom regained confidence and started to string together phases. A powerful run from Lucas Schmid (Fa) eventually put Epsom back within striking distance and Kevin Gyamfi (P) scored soon after to take the game to 5-5. After a period of stalemate, a sensational run from Fraser Law (Rn) allowed Schmid to score in the corner, closing out the half at 10-5. RGS controlled most of the second half, but Epsom defended heroically in their own 22. Eventually, Epsom recovered the ball and Kit Temperley (Rn) evaded several runners to score under the posts, adding the conversion to make it 17-5. Epsom were put under pressure again in their own half, but stalwart defending kept RGS out. Will Springett (Fa) found a way to break the stalemate and scored a magnificent end-to-end try under the posts. RGS continued to control territory and possession and they were finally rewarded for their efforts with a well-deserved try to close the game.
