Match Report
Epsom College Girls-U16B vs  The Portsmouth Grammar School
On: Saturday, 19 Jan 2019
Venue: Away

WON 27-5

After a week of honest reflection, the U16Bs maturely addressed some of their weaknesses in attack and approached this fixture as an opportunity to give things a go. Different combinations were explored, players unselfishly tried new positions and all bought into a more flexible form of versatility Netball. Firing on all cylinders and with total focus Epsom stormed to a 10-1 lead in the first quarter from where they never looked back. In defence Tilly Wright (R), Emma Gleave (R) and Remi Adeniji (W) were supremely dominant, taking the pressure off and leaving the attack freer to try some plays straight from training and they did not disappoint. Clara Alexis (R), Scarlett O’Byrne (Rv), Megan Coffey (Rv) and Ysella Oliver (Rv) all stepped up their game, commanded the circle and shot with accuracy and control. A thoroughly gratifying and successful venture to the south coast.
