Match Report
Epsom College Girls-U15D vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 09 Feb 2019
Venue: at Home

Lost 21-28

A sad day for the U15Ds as their unbeaten run came to an end. Cranleigh started off strongly and although the score levelled in the third quarter, Epsom could not push forward to take the lead. Despite the loss, the team played very well and although there were a number of passing errors, the girls’ overall technique and passing skills were very effective. Alexia Tams (R) and Freya Calvert (Rv) made some excellent shots, working well as a team. Sade Toye (Rv) and Riya Treohan (M) held up the defence at the opposite end of the court and made some excellent interceptions. The last quarter saw a flurry of goals from Cranleigh and unfortunately, the team could not make a comeback in the short time that remained. A fast-paced and entertaining match, in the next one the girls will look to get back on track.
Player of the Match: Riya Treohan (M)
