Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U12B vs  RGS, Guildford Boys-U12C
On: Saturday, 17 Nov 2018
Venue: at Home

Lost 5-20

A great display of rugby on Chud 4, with two very evenly matched teams lining up. The first half saw an extremely physical encounter with hard running and tackling from both sides. RGS broke the drought with the first try after some excellent play, which seemed to bring out some fire from the Epsom boys. Nikolas Moen (Hu) and Kyle Ruth (Hu) led from the front in attack, making metres with every carry to set up the wide men. Some great defence from captain Freddie Hall (Wa) and Fin Stirling (Wa) saw Epsom turn the ball over and apply pressure in the opposition half before Ruth broke through and scored down the sideline. The second half saw a continued strong defensive effort from Epsom but they lacked the drive forwards needed to break through the line, leading to the opposition getting a roll on and scoring two quick tries early on. There were no more scores and the opposition held on for a well-deserved win, despite a fantastic effort from Epsom.

Try: Ruth (Hu)

Player of the Match: Kyle Ruth (Hu)
