U12B Tournament at Cranleigh - WINNERS

v Downsend - Drew 0-0
v Seaford - WON 3-0 Everett (Wa) x2, Diri (Hu)
v St John's - WON 1-0 Diri (Hu)
v Cranleigh (Semi-Final) - Drew 0-0
v Danes Hill (Final) - WON 1-0 Rugina (Wa)

The girls' first game was against Downsend. With little warm up it was always going to be a tough match but the girls played surprisingly well. They distributed the ball well and backed up in defence with intensity leaving the end score 0-0.

The next pool game was against Seaford. In the team's last encounter Epsom were not able to find the back of the goal, but it was not a problem this time, scoring three goals. Nell Everett (Wa) scored 2 and Olivia Diri (Hu) the other. A fantastic game to watch.

The final pool game was against St John's. It was neck and neck the entire game. Due to some amazing goalkeeping from Lucy Stephens (Hu) and defence from Bibi Watkins (Wa), Katie Reid (Wa) and Bella Hibbert (GH), St John's were not able to shoot. A fantastic goal from Olivia Diri in the dying minutes put the girls into first place in their pool and into the semi-finals.

The semi-final was against Cranleigh. This was a tight match with excellent skill work and running from Seren Callaghan (Hu), Hannahli Foley-Outeiral (Hu) and Olivia Diri. The girls were unlucky with some chances up front, with shots just missing the goal. The score was 0-0 at the final whistle but a draw was enough to put Epsom into the final.

The final was against Danes Hill. Excellent decision making and determination to win by all the girls made the game even more enjoyable to watch. The score was 0-0 with 10 seconds left before Ali Rugina (Wa) scored the winning goal right on the final whistle to seal victory for the girls.

A great tournament with massive improvements by everyone.
