Match Report
Epsom College Girls-U15B vs  Bradfield College
On: Saturday, 17 Nov 2018
Venue: at Home

Lost 0-1

In a fiercely contested game, these evenly matched sides were only separated by a breakaway goal scored by Bradfield midway through the first half. Bradfield edged the first half and it was only down to the brilliance of Meredith Briggs (Cr) in goal with some fine reflex saves that prevented Bradfield going further ahead. Epsom came out in the second half determined to fight back and dominated possession for large periods, but could not quite find the breakthrough. Jessica Alexander (Rv) covered every part of the pitch playing centre midfield, constantly breaking up play and starting the Epsom attacks. Allegra Sheen (Cr) and Ariana Menassa (Rv) did not stop running throughout and made a number of incisive runs, while Sabrina Singh (Rv) worked tirelessly to track back and put in some vital tackles. On another day Epsom could have come out victorious, but they can take plenty of positives from the way they did not stop running and fought hard right to the end.
