Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U14B vs  Brighton College
On: Saturday, 12 Jan 2019
Venue: Away

WON 4-1

The U14Bs started nervously and could have been two or three goals down within the first 10 minutes. Harry Addington (P) showed excellent decision making and made a superb save to deny Brighton a goal from the penalty spot early in the game. Epsom started to grow in confidence and take control of the game. Kevin Gyamfi (P) was very strong in central midfield and consistently made space and hit the target on many occasions. Josh Jones (H) moved the ball around the midfield with flair and Jonathan Harris (Fa) pressed constantly to force Brighton to make mistakes. Oliver Yeabsley (G) was constantly dangerous on the left wing and caused Brighton issues throughout the game. Centre backs Vlad Drobnokhod (G) and Sam Waugh (F) proved difficult to break down but Will Springett (Fa) was there to deny Brighton on the odd occasion they did get through. The U14Bs showed an amazing team spirit and worked well as a unit. The moves that resulted in goals started in their own half and were real team achievements. A great start to the U14 season.
