Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U15A vs  Brentwood School Boys-U15B
On: Thursday, 24 Jan 2019
Venue: at Home

Drew 0-0

A side containing a mixture of A and B team players were lucky to play on the hallowed Epsom 1st XI pitch. The boys' play soon mirrored this wonderful venue and with around 80% possession the style of football was both pleasing on the eye and effective. Sadly, the in-form Brentwood goalkeeper made some excellent saves and kept the boys at bay. FInn Walmsley (H) and Jamie Grubb (P) both looked dangerous in attack and Jamie Taylor (P) continued to be both assured and intelligent in the heart of midfield. Of particular note was the performance of ball playing centre half Rhys Day (G) who dictated the play from the back. A goal was more than deserved but it was good to see a return to technical football following the Tonbridge game.
Player of the Match: Rhys Day (G)
