Epsom College Girls-U13B vs  Wallington High School for Girls
On: Monday, 19 Nov 2018
Venue: at Home

WON 13-4

From the moment the girls arrived on court it was clear they were determined to do well. They organised themselves into a thorough warm up, working together as a team and ensuring they were ready to go. In the first quarter they moved the ball well through the court and defended well but the shots were not going in the net and they finished the low scoring quarter just 2-1 up. Going into the second quarter the shooting combination of Isabelle Cannon (GH) and Amber Roberts (GH) found their form, which they maintained throughout the rest of the match. Phoebe Gordon (Hu) and Imi Stoole (Hu) worked well with the shooting pair, positioning on the circle edge to allow quick passes out and in and placing the ball into space for Isabelle and Amber to finish off. In the defensive circle, Nadia Ahmad (Wa) and Arabella Alderman (Wa) shared the goal keeper role and worked well to keep the dominant Wallington shooter under pressure, winning lots of interceptions. Bethany Hodges (Hu) and Lily Graves (GH) were key both in defence and when in attack, bringing the ball through the court well. An all-round great team effort.
