Venue: Away

WON 3-2

1st seed - once again, a no-nonsense approach from Stanley Tanguy (G) against a tough 1st seed. 11-8, 11-5, 11-9.
2nd seed - a tour de force from Fraser Spalding (Fa) with a commanding view of the match throughout, winning 3 games in short succession.
3rd seed - an heroic battle by Lewis Price (F) saw little given away by either player - both matching each other stroke for stroke. In the end, the fifth game was lost 12-14 in a fantastic match overall.
4th seed - this was Lewis’s second outing and he was looking for a win. Taking the first game 11-9, losing the second 11-6, he nudged ahead in the third 12-10, and went into the fourth game looking to close down the Trinity opponent. However, it was not meant to be, going down to a tense fifth game, losing 2 games to 3. A heroic outing overall for Lewis.
5th seed - an excellent match from the rapidly improving Finn McLennan Fordyce (Hu). Clearly brimming with confidence from his win in the recent close Dulwich game Finn won in straight games 3-0.
