Epsom College Boys-U15A vs  Brighton College
On: Thursday, 13 Dec 2018
Venue: at Home

WON 4-2

The U15As made a pleasing start to the season with a creditable victory over last year's unbeaten Brighton College side. After going 0-1 down following an understandably shaky start with a new look defence, the boys grew into the game before equalising from a well worked set piece. As possession grew and confidence flowed through the side, Charley Redknapp (G), Charlie Day (C) and Max Franks (H) began to control the midfield area of the pitch. With captain Zachary Alfalahi (C) looking the most likely to unlock the opposition defence with touches of real quality the boys then went 2-1 up shortly after half time. Jude Clark (G) continued to be a constant threat, linking superbly with Solomon Ekoku (Fa) and Nicholas Wong (H). After Brighton equalised against the run of play, the boys scored twice to lead the game 4-2. Both moves came directly from driving runs and penetrative passes from flying full backs George Morley (C) and the technically gifted Jamie Taylor (P). A good start with plenty of work to do next term.
