Epsom College Boys-U14D vs  Haileybury
On: Saturday, 02 Feb 2019
Venue: at Home

WON 10-0

Another convincing win. In a much-changed team, Epsom dominated from the outset. Lacking a regular goalkeeper, the opposition were indebted to Seumas MacLeod (H) volunteering to go in goal for Haileybury and he repelled many Epsom shots, including a penalty. It was impressive to see the Epsom players play good football, Jasper Lawler (P) especially effective in spreading the ball out wide where Edward Marriott (C) wreaked havoc all afternoon. Tom Glynne-Percy (G), Daniel Lodge (C) and Harry Savigar (Rn) dealt well with any threats in defence, while the midfielders and strikers benefitted from plenty of possession. Julian Pearl (C) snaffled a hat-trick, but other highlights were a towering header from Rudy Mill (H), an instinctive finish from the impressive Will Hewett (H) and a match-ending top-corner curler from player of the match Marriott.
Goal scorers: Pearl (C) x3, Marriott (C) x2, Villa (G), Hewett (H), Draper (Rn), Mikheev (G), Mill (H)
Player of the Match: Edward Marriott (C)
