Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U14A vs  Egerton FC
On: Friday, 04 Jan 2019
Venue: Away

After three wonderful days training at the Manchester City Etihad campus the boys were ready for action. Playing on a full sized pitch against an unknown team led to a nervy start with the team conceding possession too easily. This allowed Egerton to be on the front foot, dominating the early possession with the pressure leading them to take the lead after 10 minutes. The boys rallied, putting into practice the fast paced pass and move football from training. They began to create opportunities and the finishing of Jaami Qureshi (P) and Kit Temperley (Rn) saw Epsom level and subsequently take the lead. As the game went into the second half Epsom dominated play with all players linking well and demonstrating the ability to move the ball quickly and make space. Again the finishing of Qureshi and Temperley was the difference, leading to a triumphant 5-1 win. The boys finished on a high, playing an exciting brand of football and certainly look forward to the new season.
