Match Report
Epsom College Girls-U15A vs  Brighton College
On: Saturday, 12 Oct 2019
Venue: Away

WON 2-1

After an interesting journey, Epsom were understandably slightly slow to start the game. They played some nice hockey, entering the D with intent and putting some nice passes together, although not at a pace they should be satisfied with. Sophie Edison (M) finished a nice shot in front of goal that Ella Clinton (Cr) had secured. Leading 1-0 going into the second half, Epsom lost their way for the first ten minutes and conceded a goal. It appeared to give the girls a reality check and they responded positively, playing quicker and more intelligent hockey, moving the ball on well and having more determination. Keeping up the pressure, Olivia Thompson-Brown (M) played a great ball to Ella Parson (Rv) who took her chance well to regain the lead for Epsom. Kitty Ellis (Wh) created havoc for Brighton in the midfield and was very unlucky not to score a couple of goals herself.

Goal Scorers: Edison (M), Parson (Rv)

Player of the Match: Sophie Norman (Wh) - for her constant work rate and great movement up front.
