On: Thursday, 13 Feb 2020
Venue: at Home

WON 27-5

Epsom completed a fairly simple victory to finish their decent half term, winning 27-5 against King's Canterbury. Despite the rain the game went ahead and Epsom started with their foot on the pedal. With some brilliant shooting from Ella Clinton (Cr) and Thea Thompson-Brown (R), at half time Epsom were 17-5 up. Olivia Thompson-Brown (M) and Sophie Edison (M) were once again reliable at the back and rarely let King's near the net. The rain began to fall again, making the game a bit scrappy for both teams. However, Polly Martin-Webb (M) kept things calm and controlled throughout the middle of the court, maintaining the team's discipline. Epsom managed to keep a steady scoring rate and the game finished 27-5. The girls should be really proud at how they have finished the half term and look to continue their progress after the break.
