Match Report
Epsom College Girls-U15C vs  The King's School, Canterbury
On: Thursday, 13 Feb 2020
Venue: at Home

WON 29-8

The weather was somewhat reflective of the U15Cs match performance this afternoon - highly changeable! The girls started off relatively well, making the most of their possession and winning the first quarter, but all knew it could have been better. There were some silly mistakes and a lot of calling for the ball when not actually in the position to receive it. The second quarter, however, saw some outstanding play. The girls moved well on court and scored an impressive 11 goals in only ten minutes while the sun was shining, with some lovely shooting from Bethany Walsh (Wh). The match continued with Epsom being the dominant side and the girls took the opportunity to slow the game down and think about moving away from the sidelines into the middle of the court. Edie Pettit (Rv) worked hard to support attacking play from her position of WD, always offering a square pass to open up the match. Then the rain came, and the focused, skilled play slipped away as both teams struggled to maintain their concentration. Overall, however, the U15Cs played well and deserved to come away with the win.
