Match Report
Epsom College Boys-U18B vs  Harrow School
On: Thursday, 07 Feb 2019
Venue: Away

Lost 0-5

Missing two of their top players, the 2nd V faced a very tough fixture against Harrow, who always field one of the strongest 2nd Vs on Epsom’s circuit. However, Epsom’s boys were not deterred by this challenge, fighting hard to make the fixture highly competitive.
Harry Jackson (P) faced the especially difficult prospect of playing a boy four year groups above him, but he refused to be bullied and almost won the final game.
Third seed Oliver King (Rn) showed how much he has improved over recent months by producing his best performance to date, and was only denied victory by a late comeback from his opponent in the deciding game.
Aadham Ahmad (F) lost 1-3, but is also making significant progress and playing with more tactical astuteness.
Fraser Spalding (Fa) was pushed hard by a very impressive Harrow first seed; Fraser played some good shots, but lost each game.
Oliver King (Rn) then had to play again, up at second seed, due to a late withdrawal. Despite playing a stronger opponent and having already played a five-game match, Oliver once again produced some high-level squash, losing 0-3 but coming close in a final game that finished 17-15 to his opponent.
