Epsom College Girls-U15A vs  Sutton Valence School
On: Saturday, 09 Nov 2019
Venue: at Home

WON 3-2

Not a very pretty game, with Epsom looking pretty rusty following the half term break. The girls took the lead after about ten minutes through a short corner from Farrah Stephens-Martin (M) with a very well struck shot from the top of the circle. Sutton Valence replied quickly, catching the defence napping and with too much time and space in the D. After some good pressure, Charlotte Thesiger (R) made it 2-1, dispatching the ball quickly after an initial shot was saved. Epsom took a two goal lead early in the second half, with Thesiger slapping the ball in from short range after the ball had been moved quickly and directly up to the front players. The opposition pulled a goal back and competed extremely well but Epsom managed to hold on for the win. The girls have much to do in training before Bradfield next week in order to be back to their best.

Goal Scorers: Thesiger C (R) x2, Stephens-Martin (M)
