Match Report
Epsom College Girls-U15B vs  Sutton Valence School
On: Saturday, 09 Nov 2019
Venue: at Home

WON 5-0

On a miserable afternoon weather-wise, the U15Bs started quickly with Holly Hewins (W) scoring from a short corner with a powerful shot from the top of the circle. She quickly added a second after some slick play down the right from Thea Haigh (R) and Thea Thompson-Brown (R). Epsom dominated the first half with some intricate passing down both flanks, with everyone playing their part. Anna Andrews (R) and Lily Taylor-Fitzgibbon (Rv) pulled the strings in midfield, effectively switching the play on numerous occasions and Holly Hewins (W) finished off two flowing moves to put Epsom 4-0 up at half time. Epsom continued their dominance in the second half, with Thompson-Brown creating numerous opportunities, with her blistering pace carving open the Sutton Valence defence. She scored a deserved goal midway through the second half, squeezing the ball inside the near post. With more clinical finishing Epsom could have scored more goals, but this was a great start to the second half of the season.

Goal scorers: Hewins (W) x4, Thompson-Brown T (R)
